Kizzie came to us in June 2009, having been found wandering along a main road in Staffordshire. She had clearly been badly neglected and was in very poor condition.

 

Efforts to find her owners were fruitless. Nobody bothered to try to find her.

 

It soon became apparent that she was pregnant. She subsequently gave birth to 12 pups! This was the first litter born and raised at the Ark.

 

The staff at the Ark gave their all in helping Kizzie to raise the pups, but Kizzie was the real star. A fantastic mother.

 

She and all her pups now have loving homes.
