DONATIONS

 

Ashbourne Animal Welfare receives no government or lottery help, so we are dependent on the generosity of the public to continue our work. Thank you for looking at this part of our site.

 

There are many different ways in which you can donate and all donations, large or small, help us to raise the money we need to continue our work.

 

One-Off Donations

One-off donations are very welcome. Cheques should be made payable to Ashbourne Animal Welfare.

 

Standing Orders

Regular donations by standing order are particularly welcome as they are a predictable source of income. Please telephone us on 01335 300494 or e-mail at ashbourneanimalwelfare@yahoo.co.uk and we will send you a form or click here to download a copy.

 

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, we can send you a Gift Aid form applicable to single donation or to standing orders. You need only fill in one form and this makes all your donations worth much more as we can claim an additional 28% from the taxman.This makes a £10 donation worth £12.80, at no additional cost to you.

 

Spare Change

Some people collect their loose change over a period and donate it to us.

 

Donations of Goods and Services

Many people give us donations of goods or services, rather than cash, and these are very valuable and helpful. The following are particularly welcome.

 

• Dog and cat food.
• Blankets and towels.
• Prizes for use in our raffles and tombolas.
• Modern books and good bric-a brac that we can sell (Please note that we cannot accept electrical goods).
• Builders, electricians, plumbers and other tradesmen can donate their services.
